The first step: a Technical Consult
ApexAlpha Labs requires a professional technical consultation for clients seeking guidance on system planning, upgrades, hardware selection, compatibility review, and custom project development. This process helps ensure every system is properly designed around the client’s goals, workload, reliability expectations, and long-term performance needs.
Technical consultation services for custom PC builds, upgrades, hardware selection, compatibility review, advice, parts lists, and project planning are billed $100 for the first hour. The first hour is billed upfront; subsequent consultation time is billed in 15-minute intervals ($25 per 15 minutes) at the conclusion of the consultation (Ex: 1.5hours = $150).
Consultation fees may be credited toward a future ApexAlpha Labs project invoice if the client proceeds with qualifying services through ApexAlpha Labs.

Upgrades
ApexAlpha Labs provides professional upgrade and integration services for stable, functional desktop systems. Upgrade services may include GPU, CPU, memory, storage, cooling, power supply, and related hardware installation.
A professional technical consultation is required prior to upgrade services to ensure hardware compatibility, thermal suitability, power requirements, system stability, and long-term reliability.
Prices subject to change without notice. Labor rates do not include OS license fees, hardware component prices or artwork material/use charges. Rates charged per unit.
Extended warranty plans
Peace of mind for your IT investment
Nothing is certain when it comes to sensitive electronics like PCs- we offer plans to fit your budget!
Extended warranty will only be be offered at time of system purchase. Extended warranty coverage cannot not be added after the sale is completed.
- Customer owned (BYOP) components, peripherals & accessories are excluded from our warranty plans.
- Non-local systems will need to be shipped at owners expense for any service.
- Warranty service plans can be paid in full at time of purchase or broken down to a reoccurring monthly charge for 1 year.
Going forward as of 7/14/2025:
Clients will receive a complimentary 6 month extension of warranty service on standard (bronze) coverage (total of 1.5yrs), or a full extra year of warranty service on any silver, gold, platinum or commercial extended service plans if:
- You send us a receipt copy (if bought elsewhere within 24Hrs of PC/setup purchase)
- A photo of the functioning UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) connected to the system/setup purchased from us (within 24Hrs of PC/setup purchase).
- The UPS must have AVR (Auto Voltage Regulation)
- The UPS must have a sufficient VA/wattage rating for the entire setup
or
- If you buy a UPS through us at the time of your system purchase, a warranty extension will be automatically added.

Bronze Standard Coverage (included with all systems)
Our PCs are guaranteed to be free from defect for a term of 1 year from purchase date. Standard coverage benefits include:
- 1 annual system health check
- No charge for labor or replacement cost on failed components provided by us
- Technical support as long as you own the system

$19.99/month for 1 year or $199.99 in full for each system.
2 years standard warranty coverage plus:
- 2 system health checks (1 per calender year, 2 total)
- 2 system cleanings (1 per calendar year, 2 total)
- 1 thermal paste reapplication (2nd year anniversary)
Gold Coverage (3 years)
$29.99/month for 1 year or $299.99 in full for each system.
3 years standard warranty coverage plus:
- 2 system health checks (every 1.5yrs)
- 2 system cleanings per year (every 6 months, 6 cleanings total)
- 1 thermal paste reapplication (2nd year anniversary)
Commercial Coverage (3 years)
166.99/month for 1 year or $1,999.99 in full for each system.
- 3 years onsite service
- Basic initial on-site system setup
- 1 on-site thermal paste re-application (2nd year anniversary)
- Quarterly on-site PC cleanings (1x every 3mo, 12 cleanings total)
- Quarterly remote system health check (1x every 3mo, 12 total)
- Discounted clean-room data recovery rates per drive for catastrophic damage
